FUN FROZEN FLAVORS

Ready for a delicious icy treat with a creative flair? Try one of Baltimore’ s homegrown ice cream shops— either head to one of their locations or hire them to come to you.
CREAM CRUISER
DEVIN ALLEN
TAHARKA BROS
This locally made ice cream line offers concoctions like cardamom, olive oil and sea salt; matcha mochi; and coconut-based Golden Mylk made in collaboration with chef Carleen Goodridge. They’ ll bring their truck to your event— or head to their new stall at the R. House food hall to try the flavors.
THE CHARMERY
A local favorite that specializes in Baltimore-born flavors such as Old Bay Caramel and Maryland Mud, this ice cream shop also offers a host of unusual blends. A sampling of recent flavor concepts? Feta-honey-black pepper, saffron olive oil, and cheese and crackers. The selection is constantly changing. Bring The Charmery to your event with an ice cream social, or schedule a behind-the-scenes tour at the ice cream production factory in Union Collective.
Launched in 2015 to serve up novelty ice cream treats in a nostalgia-tinged format, this company started selling its ice cream sandwiches and sorbet pushpops from a charming pink push-cart— and now has expanded to include a small storefront at Baltimore / Washington International Airport. VB
