On September 4 , America ’ s top one-day pro cycling race , the Maryland Cycling Classic , will celebrate at the finish line in the Inner Harbor . And the Baltimore Running Festival , which returns October 15 , has been a Baltimore favorite for more than 20 years ; it offers five distance options , including marathon , half-marathon and relay . The course winds through Federal Hill and Fell ’ s Point before finishing in the scenic Inner Harbor waterfront area .
