Together, the segments represent 157 events( 37 % of all events booked) and more than 226,000 room nights( 60 % of all room nights booked)
In FY26, the Visit Baltimore team booked 142 events that will take place from 2027 to 2029, generating more than 233,000 room nights. These short-term groups bring an immediate influx of visitors who aren’ t just staying in hotels but also actively support local businesses.

Among the dozens of events booked in FY26 are numerous multi-year / multi-event commitments that result in sustainable impact, including:
• CIAA Men’ s and Women’ s Basketball Tournament – 2027-2029 2,850 peak rooms requested, 10,000 total requested room nights, 39,528 peak attendees per year
• Junior Volleyball Association Charm City Challenge – 2028-2032 1,400 peak rooms requested, 2,900 total requested room nights, 12,000 peak attendees per year
• Mid-Atlantic Nursery Trade Show, Inc. Annual Winter Show – 2028-2030 1,790 peak rooms requested, 5,263 total requested room nights, 12,000 peak attendees per year
• MADE Hoops – three events in 2026 2,801 peak rooms requested, 6,400 total requested room nights, 7,000 peak attendees
• Varsity Spirit – two events in 2027 3,343 peak rooms requested, 8,312 total room nights requested, 11,500 peak attendees
• Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America Southern Region – 2028-2029 1,000 peak rooms requested, 4,000 total room nights requested, 2,500 peak attendees per year
