MISSION

At Visit Baltimore, our mission is to positively impact the quality of life of the people who live and work in the city. We do this by attracting visitor spending that creates jobs, supports local businesses and attractions and generates needed revenue for the city and state. We focus our marketing and sales efforts on telling the story of our vibrant and diverse destination to prospective visitors, proactively securing meetings and conventions for Baltimore, and emphasizing our city’ s authentic flavor and community. We are a 501( c)( 6) non-profit, funded primarily by visitor-paid hotel taxes.
