THE INDEX : AWARD-WINNING VIDEO SERIES

We teamed up with local agency TBC to create a video series that would inspire Pioneers and Creative Spirits to visit Baltimore by showcasing “ wait , this is in Baltimore ?!” experiences .
The first episode , titled “ Picked To Perfection ,” explores Baltimore ’ s steamed crab culture and shows newbies how to pick the crustacean .
The second episode , “ Summer Selects ,” details ways to beat the heat including eating snowballs and taking the Water Taxi .
This video series earned the Visit Baltimore marketing team and TBC three awards from the American Advertising Federation :
• Silver ADDY in film , video and sound for “ The Index ” episode on snowballs .
• Gold ADDY in film , video and sound for “ The Index ” episode on crabs .
• Best of Show ADDY for “ The Index ” social video series .

Showcasing the Visit Baltimore Brand

The Visit Baltimore team was honored to present “ How Intentional Branding Fosters Consistent Storytelling : A Visit Baltimore Case Study ” at the Destinations International Marketing & Communications Summit in April in Seattle , WA . The case study summarized our extensive rebranding process including the infusion of deep stakeholder input into the development of every aspect of the brand from its bold logo to the locally rooted color palette to continuing collaborations with Baltimore artists and makers . It speaks proudly of the foundational narratives that make Baltimore a distinctive destination and is a platform that others across the city feel proud to help amplify .
