CELEBRATING THE FUTURE OF TRAVEL
National Travel & Tourism Week ( NTTW ) is an annual tradition for the U . S . travel community , when travel and tourism professionals across the country unite to celebrate the positive impact travel drives for our economy , businesses and personal well-being .
With the theme of “ Future of Travel ,” Visit Baltimore celebrated by promoting a series of events and experiences that reinforced the industry ’ s role in restoring our city ’ s economy , rebuilding our workforce and improving the welfare of locals and visitors alike :
• April 30 : Volunteering at Mayor Brandon Scott ’ s Spring Cleanup
• May 2 : Mindful Monday and a regional job fair & networking breakfast with other destination marketing organizations including Visit Annapolis and Visit Howard County
• May 4 : Virtual job fair , a networking event for the tourism industry and a student cooking challenge ( learn more on the opposite page )
• May 5 : Tourism Advocacy Summit
• May 6 : Tourism Community Day
