BALTIMORE’ S SPORTS MARKET
CIAA: THE ROAD TO BALTIMORE
The long-awaited 2021 CIAA Men’ s and Women’ s Basketball Tournament in Baltimore was cancelled for the safety of the athletes and fans. But even without basketball, we were able to host the“ Virtual Vibe: Tournament Edition” event. Fans were welcomed to a virtual version of Charm City and we were able to showcase our local personalities and contributors at a variety of online events. The Virtual Vibe resulted in more than 2.73M impressions to Baltimore. org.
In February 21-26, 2022, we look forward to welcoming excited fans to Baltimore and introducing them to Charm City in person. Students, alumni and basketball fans come together every year for this longstanding tradition. It’ s more than a basketball championship— it’ s a social event and a family reunion.
