cording this interview right now, there are so
Blockchain innovation in the world? many innovations. Then there’s the Internet.
Rahdi: I think that we’re going to see a very The Internet was invented in 1969 in Califor-
interesting future. The Internet is an example,
or let’s even pedal back a little further to po-
wer. So power, what most people don’t under-
stand, is a little over 100 years old. I think it
was 1907 or 1906 when we first really started
getting power.
In 1920, New York City, from the Niagara
Falls dams, was really the first city to actually
have power. So, as you can tell, we’re almost
100 years on from the first city having a lot
of power. Within this timeframe, you can see
all of these innovations, whether it’s medici-
ne, spaceships, silicones, the way we’re re-
nia, and it stayed around for around 30 years
until 1989, when we actually created the Web.
Look what the Web has done for us:
We now walk around with Smartwatches. We
all have a device that allows us to have Web
integrated into it. So, I can only imagine what
Blockchain is going to be able to do. If you
want to compare Blockchain technology, I wo-
uld say the best use case would be the Web,
which has integrated into our lives in every
possible way. So, to answer your question,
everywhere!
