click, click, click! Here are the people. We
know they’re going to work together well, and
we know we need that guy because we al-
ways need the devil’s advocate.
Let’s find the devil’s advocate, the person
who’s always bringing in the new ideas. Also,
we never have to elect the person who’s gon-
na be the head of that because, that’s obvio-
us, he’s got the most fish tokens, amiability,
and if we look at his decisions over time he’s
been right more often than all the other people.
You can even look at people’s decisions to
see, when they made a decision, how right
was it.
Did it get the outcome?
Your reputation isn’t like your degrees. Right
now, you’ve got a degree that says, that’s how
smart you are about something. It doesn’t say
how often you’ve made the right decision or
how often you’ve given good advice. That’s
the kind of evolution of how this could look.
Then you sort of ask, what is government?
For big government it’s very simple, it’s how
we make decisions, and what I just described.
There’s some artificial intelligence out there
that knows my reputation and that assigned
me a role, a leadership role hopefully at this
point in my career, and it did that based on my
history, nobody had to elect me.
But, I’m the decision maker now based on my past.
I’m the decision maker with these other five people
because it decided that five was the optimal num-
ber of people to work together on this particular
project. That will only happen if our way of thinking
causes that to happen. If we all go around thinking
we need a boss, and that boss is going to be the
boss for ten years, instead of that boss is going to
help us clean up the river and then they’re going
to go home, then the artificial intelligence is
going to be wrong.
