Visions of Blockchain Magazine Visions of Blockchain Pillar Unepisode | Page 20
We don’t come and say, „there is a list of
guests, and you’re not on it”.
No. Whoever wants can come, and I hope
that in a few years’ time, we’re going to
have thousands of people coming, and
maybe in different locations. I don’t know
how we’re going to do it, but this is some-
thing that is part of the value.
It’s a movement, Pillar is a movement.
It belongs to the people, and it’s a move-
ment that is not disconnected from the
world, that is constantly in touch with
regulators, politicians and decision makers
because we want to help.
What I hear from regulators and decision
makers is they want to change things, but
sometimes they don’t know how.
VoB: Yes, exactly. I agree.
That’s why, this afternoon, I will propose
a workshop about ethical business model
guidelines, because we had the chance to
meet a few people who are also concerned
by the regulation tax and other issues we
can see in this industry. It’s also the reason
we decided to launch our magazine,
because I’m really involved in innovation
cloud computing since 10 years and for
me, it’s the first time that humanity has
the opportunity to radically create a new
paradigm.
But, if you wait for a politician to think for
you and create better regulation, and the
good context, I think we will miss a part of
this huge potential.
We have to walk together in a collaborative
way.
When I was in Brazil, I participated in an
event and spoke with many politicians.
They are open minded. Often, we say our
politicians don’t understand, they don’t
care, they just think about themselves, and
now a lot of politicians care more about it.
They really want to change things. But, as
they don’t have the knowledge, it’s difficult
to decide and implement solutions.
So now, we will share and discuss more
and more with them, and it will be easier
to build and imagine this new paradigm
together, because I think our society
needs a new paradigm.
