Women in Blockchain In your opinion, how are women considered in the Blockchain industry/community? Do you think it’s a sexist industry? In my opinion, women in the blockchain industry are better considered. They appear more and more publicly, even if most of the Blockchain leaders, and users probably too, are men. We can see the num- ber of women in meetups increasing, and explaining the blockchain principles to others. For example, in France: Claire Balva (co founder and CEO of Block- chain Partner), Sajida Zouahri (R&D leader at Con- sensy Paris and Blockchain Architect). Saying that the industry is sexist or not is a little bit different: According to me, there is a real will to push women to the fore (as leaders, speakers, executives…), and I personally haven’t had a bad sexist experience yet. But, I read an article about women in Blockcha- in saying that “behind the scenes”, on forums for example, some men had behaved negatively towards them, responding to their questions as if they didn’t understand the topic. What is your opinion about parity, equal pay for equal work, sexism? I am totally for parity and equality. Same work, same pay. However, women should be represented in po- sitions of privilege thanks to their skills and abilities, not because they are women.
