Yes one factor which you would consider if you picked up a needle; you cannot go over other colors, it’s a one shot deal, not lighting and darkening, you would have to keep the detail to a minimum, and the ink will spread and leave a blob if there is too much detail. Another factor is the fact working from dark to light and leaving the highlights open till the end, it actually makes one not have the ability to put in nice fine detail, and overlay colors. NO NOOODLING…….
