Kempsey Cannonballs Rugby Union Club
I would like to begin by thanking our new sponsors Kempsey Macleay RSL Club and Bowling Club – we look forward to a great year ahead and a long term relationship ! The 2017 season is looking promising after last year ’ s efforts with four grades competing in the major semi ’ s and our 1st Grade team making the Grand Final . We are proud to announce this year we have an Under 18 ’ s team which we are very excited about and look forward to maintaining a team in this division .
One of the key advantages of the Cannonballs is our ground at Crescent Head . As a result , we have managed to score several elite country events in 2017 including the Rugby 7 ’ s held in March , and the Under 14 ’ s and Under 15 ’ s Country Championship held in early May . We are very proud and excited for these events to be played on our home ground . A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers and supporters who work tirelessly at the ground and in fundraising to keep our grounds at a superior level – this could not be achieved without you . A special thanks to Laurie Clay for his time and efforts .
