the majority of the building that took place, but it
was PAL Technology that were responsible for the
construction of the District Cooling Plant, which
was completed in record time – just 18 months.
In a climate as hot as that of the Arabian Gulf,
air conditioning is a must-have. Power costs and
environmental impact can be reduced considerably
by amalgamating the cooling requirements of a local
district and serving them using a large cooling plant
instead of individual units. The net effect of the plant
is that energy consumption is reduced by 50% in the
new Marina Square devlopment that the plant serves.
