was carried out as Forfás produced a 162 page report entitled ‘Future Skills
Needs of Enterprise with the Green Economy in Ireland’
• Forfás conservatively estimated the overall value of the Irish market at €2.8
billion in 2008
• The potential exists to create 80,000 jobs in the sector
