In today’ s ever-changing world, intercultural competence is essential for helping students explore and understand diversity with empathy, respect, and curiosity.
The eTwinning project“ Different but United”, developed under the annual theme“ Citizenship Education: Celebrating What Unites Us”, involved children aged 6 to 10, including kindergarten pupils, and their teachers from Romania, Greece, Moldova, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, and Portugal.
The main aim of the project was to develop their intercultural competences and to help students appreciate what is new and different, while promoting inclusion, tolerance, acceptance, and equality.
Collaborative activities Pupils were actively involved in the project. Monthly activities were carefully
-“ Cultural Bingo” – identifying national flags, foods, and landmarks through a playful quiz;
