Visibility of eTwinning Projects Group July 2025 Newsletter improved their relationship skills. The impact on children materialised by motivating and engaging them in the instructional-educational process, by developing the ability to learn through cooperation and by developing selfconfidence.
The project had a significant impact on children, teachers and the preschool community in general: 1. Development of emotional intelligence: Children learned to: recognise and express their emotions( happiness, sadness, anger, fear, etc.); manage conflicts and impulsive reactions; become more empathetic and open towards others. 2. Improvement of interpersonal relationships: The project promoted: cooperation and collaboration between students from different countries; tolerance and respect for emotional and cultural diversity; a positive climate in the classroom, based on mutual understanding and support. 3. Transdisciplinary and creative learning: Children explored emotions through: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics( STEAM); digital activities
( Padlet, Canva, presentations, videos, etc.); connections with other fields( biology – nervous system, civic education – children’ s rights, etc.). 4. Openness to other cultures: Children discovered: how emotions are expressed in other languages and cultures; that emotions are universal, but the way they are expressed can vary; cultural differences and similarities through international collaborations. 5. Development of European key competences: Children developed: digital skills( use of the eTwinning platform, online applications); linguistic skills( communication in foreign languages: English); critical thinking, creativity and autonomy in learning. 6. Impact on teachers and the kindergarten: Teachers gained experience in modern socio-emotional approaches; the prestige of the kindergarten increased through involvement in European projects; innovative and child-centred teaching methods were promoted.
