Project-based Learning ( PBL ) and eTwinning Projects – “ Life Is Good , Friendship Is Better ” by Carmen Sin
What is the connection between the two above ? A strong connection - our eTwinning project is a good example of Project-based learning ( PBL ).
Our eTwinning Project ‘‘ Life is Good , Friendship is Better ’’ https :// schooleducation . ec . europa . eu / en / etwinning / projects / life-good-friendship-better / twinspace / pages is addressed to the students aged between 13 and 17 who need to know how friendships shape their lives , and what true friendships look like .
Friendship is defined as " a good relationship between two people ." A friend is someone we have been close to for years , or they are someone fairly new in our life . People are referred to as best friends if the friendship is really strong . This relationship is characterized by positive interpersonal qualities such as kindness , generosity , loyalty , and honesty . Bad friendships always include negative interactions and damage to our life .
All partner schools want to draw attention to the importance of friendship in life . They want their pupils to notice friends are an important part of life and recognize the differences between good and bad friends ’ personal qualities . A project work enhances and helps improve a person ' s cognitive abilities and making them sharper and more profound over time . Project work essentially accentuates a person ' s cognitive abilities and makes them better learners . My students created word clouds about personal qualities of bad and good friends , it has been a challenging activity , we laughed , we discussed , we took guesses , asked and answered questions .
Project-based learning ( PBL ) is more than just a teaching method ; it is an immersive , handson experience that ignites curiosity , nurtures creativity , teaches life and career skills , and prepares us for the challenges of the real world . Studies have shown that project-based
