Visibility of eTwinning Projects Group July 2026 Newsletter development. However, students and teachers should remain in control of the process. In my own practice, I always emphasise that AI should not replace students’ thinking, creativity or decision-making. It should function as an assistant that helps them move forward while encouraging them to question, verify and improve its suggestions.
Hack # 3: Remember the 3 Ps – Planning, Partners and Platform The 3 Ps – Planning, Partners and Platform – are fundamental elements of a successful eTwinning project.
The first P comes from planning. Teachers need sufficient time to design the project stages, agree on common objectives, establish milestones and create a realistic timeline. Responsibilities should be distributed clearly among the participating partners so that the whole workload does not fall on only one or two teachers.
The TwinSpace should not become a storage area filled with disconnected materials. It should reflect the structure and progression of the project, document collaboration and make the learning journey visible.
Hack # 4: Bring cultural heritage into the digital age At first glance, cultural heritage and emerging technologies may seem to represent opposite directions. In reality, digital tools can help students explore, reinterpret and share cultural heritage in highly creative ways.
A good example is our eTwinning project Once Upon a Name – Tracing Origins Across Cultures. During the project, students from different countries explored the stories behind names and expressions that appear in everyday life. They investigated why certain foods, brands, words, technologies, fashion items and places are called the way they are.
The second P is partners. Partner selection can have a major influence on the success of the project. The most reliable partners are not necessarily those with the most experience, but those who communicate openly, respect deadlines, contribute ideas and are willing to adapt when circumstances change.
The third P is the platform, particularly the TwinSpace. A well-organised project space helps both teachers and students understand where they are in the process, what has already been completed and what needs to happen next.
