The TwinSpace serves as an extension and digital platform, as well as a showcase and repository, for this Erasmus + group mobility project. Technology was an integral part of every stage of the project and helped to give meaning and shape to this journey. Thanks to technology, most of the collaborative activities were carried out, and it served as a vehicle for developing the majority of the expected skills, ranging from linguistic and digital skills, through personal and social skills, to active citizenship.
Project stages and TwinSpace organisation start, in October and November, the pupils from the two countries got to know each other by introducing themselves individually and, in groups, presented their schools with videos and presentations. Two different Digipads were created and embedded where they could share their work. Then, drawing upon their knowledge and curiosity, they collaboratively created a multiple-choice questionnaire on the EU for their peers to inquire about its knowledge and perception. The survey was then administered to their schoolmates and friends, and the results were published. For the mobility in Brussels, four main pages were set up— one for each day— and several subpages, one for each activity carried out, whether a visit or a collaborative task.
For the pre-mobility phase, three pages were dedicated in TwinSpace. After a general introduction to the project, we set up the pages“ Our schools”,“ Let’ s get to know each other”, and“ What do European teenagers think about the EU?”. At the
