environments of the school( for example, the school library), both the digital literacy and analytical thinking skills of the female students were developed, and the societal value given to the education of girls in line with the project ' s purpose was reinforced.
Showcasing strategic dissemination: From local impact to a global silver award The culmination of these efforts successfully bridged secure digital spaces with physical public platforms. Inspired by the Girls ' Shine 2 initiative, our school participated in the TÜBİTAK 4006 C Science Fair by developing a new research branch. Students delivered presentations and exhibited digital products by researching pioneering women who achieved success in the world and in Türkiye. This public science fair featured student-made e-books and digital presentation QR codes, alongside interactive workshop activities including traditional wax-resist candle-carving and punch needle techniques. The exhibition also presented a visitor guestbook for project feedback, thematic toys suitable for the project ' s purpose and books by the project Turk founder and a student. For the vision of social inclusion, a traditional visit was made to the Kabakdere village school. Our students
gifted books, toys, and rose-shaped flower figurines to paint together to the young children at the village school. High school students conducted social responsibility activities with the young students, becoming correct role models for them, and the vision of social inclusion was taken even further. Especially with the regional and international impact of the Girls ' Shine projects, the Turkish founding partner was honoured with the Bronze Award in Women and Child Education in 2025, and achieved second place globally by winning the Silver Award in the Change-Making and Regional Impact categories in 2026 at the Women Changing the World Competition, gaining extraordinary global visibility. Additionally, our efforts were recognized among the Innovative Examples in Education at the Legadder- egitiyoz26- Innovative Schools in Education Summit in Türkiye, where the presentation of the project was conducted during this online summit. All results of the project were added to the eTwinning ESEP project pages, official school news channels, and national educational platforms like bilimsenligi. com, reinforcing the extraordinary global and regional visibility of the project.
