tasks for their international partners. This method promoted active learning while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and independent thinking.
Activities implementation Among all project activities, " The Photo Scavenger Hunt " quickly became one of the students ' favourites.
Working in international pairs, students searched their homes and everyday surroundings for examples of physical phenomena. Students carefully observed mirrors, windows, shiny surfaces, balloons, clothing, plastic objects, and other everyday materials that could illustrate these concepts.
Instead of simply identifying examples, students photographed the phenomena and explained what they had observed. This activity encouraged learners to realise that science is not limited to laboratories— it is present everywhere around us. By looking at ordinary objects through the eyes of a scientist, students discovered that even the simplest daily experiences can become opportunities for scientific investigation.
To showcase their observations, students created a Collaborative Photo Gallery using Padlet. Each participant uploaded a photograph illustrating a physical phenomenon together with a brief description. Students from the partner country then examined each image and wrote short explanations in English describing the scientific principles behind it. This collaborative exchange transformed a simple photo gallery into an
international scientific discussion. Students practised observation, scientific reasoning, and communication simultaneously while receiving immediate feedback from their European peers. The gallery became an inspiring collection of everyday examples demonstrating how physics influences our daily lives.
Developing Skills for Life Throughout the activities, students developed a wide range of key competences, including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, digital literacy, problem-solving, curiosity and initiative, as well as intercultural awareness. Students also learned how to organise information, present evidence, work responsibly within teams, and respect different viewpoints. These transferable competences will continue to benefit them throughout their education and future careers.
The project directly supported the eTwinning Annual Theme for the 2025 – 2026 school year: " Skills for Life." By integrating scientific investigation with teamwork, digital technologies, communication, and international cooperation, the project contributed to the development of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes promoted by the European Union
