Visibility of eTwinning Projects Group July 2026 Newsletter wider community participation in promoting women ' s rights, justice, and equal opportunities. Working in small production teams, participants planned scripts, selected supporting evidence, recorded and edited short awareness videos, and disseminated them on social media and through school communication channels.
This international campaign required students to translate acquired knowledge into authentic public communication. They learned to formulate concise arguments, adapt messages to different audiences, and combine visual, verbal, and emotional elements to maximise persuasive impact. The activity illustrated how digital storytelling can become an instrument for civic participation and social advocacy.
Participation in the campaign also encouraged students to become ambassadors of European educational opportunities. They designed promotional materials introducing the European School Education Platform( ESEP) and eTwinning to their school community and family members through video presentations, digital tutorials, interactive quizzes, articles, a promotional website, and an eSafety guide integrating copyright principles, digital citizenship, and the eTwinning Code of Conduct. Creating resources for wider audiences enabled students to consolidate their understanding of safe and responsible online collaboration while fostering their peers ' digital competence and promoting the core values of eTwinning and ESEP.
The project further contributed to the European School Education Platform campaign " Skills that Make a Difference ", which connected the development of transversal competences with responsible civic action. Students produced call-toaction videos encouraging their peers and local community to support women ' s rights while demonstrating how individual skills can contribute to positive social change. The assignment required eTwinners to formulate a clear message, illustrate it through a real-life example, and conclude with a memorable motivational statement.
Despite their brevity, these productions demanded careful planning, scripting, collaboration, and digital editing, promoting impactful communication and purposeful use of multimedia.
