From the initial planning stage, partner schools collaboratively defined the project ' s objectives, timeline, learning activities, assessment strategies and final products. Continuous communication through TwinSpace, online meetings and collaborative digital tools ensured that every partner actively contributed to the project ' s development and decisionmaking process.
For young children, international collaboration represented a unique opportunity to discover that learning extends far beyond the classroom walls. They exchanged ideas, compared traditions, explored monuments from different countries and jointly created educational products with peers they had never met in person. These experiences encouraged openness, curiosity and respect while helping pupils understand that cultural diversity is one of Europe ' s greatest strengths.
Collaborative learning also strengthened essential social and emotional competences. Pupils learned to listen to others, negotiate ideas, provide constructive feedback and appreciate different perspectives. They experienced cooperation as a process of building knowledge together rather than competing against one another. These authentic interactions transformed European citizenship from an abstract concept into a lived educational experience.

Learning through authentic experiences enabled children to understand complex concepts more easily because knowledge was connected with meaningful contexts rather than isolated exercises.
Equally important was the project ' s influence on pupils ' personal development. Children became more confident when expressing ideas, more willing to collaborate and increasingly capable of solving problems independently. Working together with international partners fostered empathy, responsibility and intercultural understanding while encouraging pupils to appreciate cultural diversity as an opportunity for learning.
Teachers also experienced significant professional growth. The project created opportunities to exchange innovative pedagogical practices, experiment with new educational technologies and integrate STEAM methodologies into everyday classroom practice. Continuous collaboration with colleagues from different educational systems broadened professional perspectives and inspired new approaches to curriculum integration.
Parents became active partners in the educational process by supporting children ' s investigations, encouraging participation in creative activities and
