Hello women and women in training (aka our Teens and pre-teens)!

My name is Dr. Donna and I introduce to you, my new column:

The Psychologist Corner:

Professional Advice for Things that Happen in Life

The purpose of The Psychologist’s Corner is provide you with tips, suggestions, encouragement, and hope to not only face but to thrive in the midst of the ups and downs of life.

You may wonder… who is this column for?

As a parent, do you find yourself sometimes feeling sad, frustrated, or disappointed?

As a teen do you sometimes feel that it’s hard to live up to your parents’ expectations?

As a parent, teen, or kid – do you want to feel and be your happiest self?

Then this column is for you…

Each month I will share a story of Hope, a

Each month I will share a story of Hope, a word of Strength, or a message of Faith that will push you on your walk to be Victorious, Virtuous, and Valued!

For the first column, I’d like to start off with a quote that I created:

“I have the potential for greatness, the audacity to believe this is true, and the bravery to make it so!”

That quote is important to me because it highlights a very important point:

We ALL have greatness within us, but the greatness can only be seen when we believe it AND THEN do something about it!

Here are a few questions for you to consider: What value are you adding to your life and the lives of those around you? What goals do you have for your present and future? If you haven’t thought about the answers to these questions, waste not a minute more! And if you already know what your value is, be sure that you’re taking daily steps to bring out all that you desire.

So, what quotes motivate you to be your most AWESOME self? I would love to hear your thoughts… And, if you ever have a moment’s doubt about your greatness, just listen to the song ‘Worth’ by Anthony Brown and Group Therapy.
