Miss Emily Conner is being honored as our August Teen Queenz! Emily is the daughter of Jaime and Richard Conner. She resides in Fernandina Beach, FL with her mother Jamie, her brother, Isaiah, and her little sister Bethany. Emily is a freshman at Fernandina Beach High School. As you can see from her radient smile, Emily has a warm spirit that touches everyone she meets.
Emily was nominated by her mom, Jamie. When asked why she nominated her daughter, Jamie said, "Emily lives each day as Christ intends for us to- virtuously, righteosly and according to His word. Anyone who meets her is touhed by her spirit and she is happy to be a good friend to anyone ."
Emily is a young lady of many talents. She plays the saxaphone in the school band and in her church youth group. She enjoys singing and theatre and performed in a community production of Handel's Messaih and The Music Man. Emily participates in the Big Brother/Big Sister Program and enjoys playing volleyball. The sport didn't come to her naturally. At

first, she struggled to learn the basic skills and was not proud of her performance in games. But instead of giving up, she worked harder during practice. She's not spiking the ball like an Olympian yet, but she's come a long way and is excited about playing next season.
Family is very important to Emily and she has a big one. Five brothers and one sister! She spends alot of time hanging out them and loves every minute of it.
Emily is her mothers pride and joy and she has a wall full of Facebook photos to prove it!
