Miss Dajuana Matthews is being honored as our August Teen Queenz! Dajuana is the daughter of Veneral Michael of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Dajuana is a senior at Choctawhatchee Senior High also located in in Fort Walton Beach, and as you can see by her vibrant smile, has an exuberant personality!

Dajuana was nominated by her aunt Roslyn Jackson, who is also the leader of her Christian Sorority, Ladies of Virtue. Roslyn speaks of Dajuana's bravery to pronounce the name of Jesus amongst her peers.

"We live in a world where children are almost embarrassed to say the name of Jesus," she says. "I love the fact that she was able to defeat Satan's tactic of unforgiveness with the power of love. Jesus says; 'If I be lifted up - I'll draw all men unto me.' I do believe that her faith is changing the world around her, where others are learning more about themselves but most of all - about God. And that's news for the spotlight!"

We couldn't agree more!
