Tati: in the early days when I first joined tipping was just part of life in the clubs and girls could make a lot of money. The guys would wind us up to have emote battles and tip their favorite girls more and more as the emotes got more complicated and fun. The most I have been tipped for a single pole dance was 27,000 L and that was from a guy who tipped me over 40k in a night. Guests were generous and appreciated what we were giving to them and after all a L$ isn't much for a girls time and emoting skills, the guests played their part and we played ours to give them some fun.

Over time those guests disappeared from SL as the Lindens wanted ID and control through adult areas and now many guests think that the girls do not need reward at all but they are missing the point.

when they tip us we respond

it is a game

And the responses increase in variety as they test us for entertainment, if they do not tip then there is no cause to emote, after all L$50 is about 10p in RL or possibly 10cents.

It really isn’t much and stripping a girl if that is what the guests want, to see her naked, is a team game where everyone should contribute.

We are getting to the stage where the girls do not emote and the guests do not tip and we might as well have bots.

VYM: do you still dance in SL?

Tati: yes but less regularly, I dance at The Limelight where i play on a pole or sometimes on the floor. I have some guys who like to have private dances with me at my cottage where I pole and lap dance for them. I try to use costumes for my work to add fun but when it comes down to it a dancers main costume is her body ad teh guests have to like that. I dance because I enjoy giving entertainment and emoting has become a sort of compulsion for me.
