VYM: so how hard was for you to adopt in SL, judging your already 8 years in this grid?
Tati : I have just been me, I love dancing and entertaining and found that people enjoyed my style of emoting. It's easy to continue if people love you and look after you, mesh was odd & I always thought it came in too early as a half made idea - if you have ever studied a pair of Lolas on stage in a lagged club you will know what I mean and there were things outside dancing that gave my fun and I made friends with some nice people, I am a very late developer for mesh.
VYM: so did SL help your RL or RL helped your SL in some way?
Tati : a dancer's life in RL can be fairly short and I needed interests outside work that didn’t cost money, SL was ideal and it also helped me develop my use of English. RL has helped me in SL as when I am dancing I just emote what I would be doing onstage in RL, people compliment my emoting but really I am just telling them what they would see in a real strip club.
In fact I helped design a club in SL that was a replica of a well know London strip pub.
Some things in SL do bother me and one is that what a person may see in their screen is not what others may see and that is a concern for someone like me who wants a perfect presentation
VYM: why do you think we need dancers and or strippers in SL?
Tati: WHY? Because there is a strong theme of sex in SL and stripping and lap dancing are part of that life. As a dancer I enjoy people enjoying me and the interaction of dancing, emoting and getting tips and chats from the guests bring the whole thing to life.
VYM: talking to you before I understood that you worked hard your way up as a dancer ... judging SL from your point of view, do you recommend that dancing or escorting is the easiest way to make linden and purchase things you wish to have inside this virtual reality?
