When I closed my eyes BY NA’QUAYLA RANDOLPH When I closed my eyes, My world went black. I entered into another world (an illusion, if that). Like before I appeared, Moaning came back, I was lying on my bed. And I arose from my peace. Asleep, until I heard a I opened my eyes, Sound so similar to the dead. And let out a loud scream.. At first I thought it faded. The killer was in my room! I listened for it as I awoke. My tired body was heading asleep, Until I heard a loud croak. In front of me, he stood. In one hand, he had a blade And in the other, a lot of wood There, I began to weep, For I knew I saw my doom. Before the blade could touch me I awoke in the same room. IMAGE COURTESY OF WEBNEEL.COM 24
