Morning came, and she didn't remember anything unusual. Things looked out of place and it was a different season outside the window. The scene changed again, she was in class. Now out shopping. Things were spinning wildly around her now. Trying to persuade her it was okay. Then, she saw a man. “Wake up, Madison. Wake up!” he said. She was frightened and didn't know what to do. He kept yelling at her, “You have to wake up!” 15 Caught in his frenzy of words and anguish she tried. She closed her eyes and concentrated hard. Nothing happened. She pinched her arm and it hurt, she pinched harder and... Madison woke up in a hospital bed. She didn't remember anything, but she was sore all over. Michael cried out in joy, along with all the other faces crowded in the small room. “What happened?” she asked. Apparently, she'd been in a coma for three days. It was a miracle that she woke up, but she did.
