BY MARY MULANAX
She was at that moment in time when things were falling fast.
Falling, quite irresistibly this time around, in a good way.
He was at that moment in time
when his words were more than just letters.
She told him in so many words,
"We'll forget the air,
and breath each other instead."
And each night he'd sit under the sky and think,
"All the constellations look like her."
And if there ever was a moment in time,
when the world stopped spinning they'd still be smiling.
And when the time came for them to part,
all the angels in heaven fell to their knees
and bowed their heads in sorrow.
She said to him, in so many words,
"When the sun goes down for the last moment of time,
and the moon stays forever hidden,
I swear we will have nothing to lose."
And he said to her, in so many words,
"You have to swear to the great lord above,
that you won't shed a single tear for me.
You are as brave and full of everything we love as the ocean is wide. Look at the
sky, and the constellations
and think of me, dear.
Because I'll always be thinking of you.
For every moment in time."
