A team of undergrads taking on the world - and coming
in 4th. That's what the Hyperloop team did in 2016 when
they traveled to Texas A&M and went head to head with
the best in the world. More than 100 teams competed in
Elon Musk's hyperloop design event. Teams are now building their pods for testing at a Space-X facility in 2017.

Virginia Tech's team will use an on-board propulsion system to help propel their magnetically levitated pod to more
than 400 mph - fully testing their magnetic braking in the
process.
The Hyperloop team's success has resulted in media and
