5 . Rest for 30 seconds and repeat for 2-3 sets .
Footwork Drills with Agility Ladder :
This exercise improves balance , agility , and footwork — all essential for maintaining good posture and control during the swing . 1 . Set up an agility ladder on the ground . 2 . Start with a basic footwork drill , such as shuffling side-to-side across the ladder squares , focusing on quick and light footwork .

4 . Each drill should be performed for 30 seconds , followed by 30 seconds of rest . Repeat the entire sequence for 2-3 sets .
Speed Bag Work ( modified ):
This exercise , modified for safety , improves hand-eye coordination and rotational speed , translating to a faster and more efficient swing . 1 . Stand with feet shoulder-width apart , engage your core , and hold two light dumbbells ( 3-5 lbs .) at chest height in front of you .
2 . Mimic punches at a fast pace , focusing on rotating your core and hips with each punch .
3 . Maintain good form and avoid excessive arm movement . 4 . Work for 30 seconds , rest for 30 seconds , and repeat for 2-3 sets .
