Gavin Parker ’ s ascent in golf began with a revolutionary approach to junior golf . In 2016 , he brought the Operation 36 program to Richmond — an initiative aimed at fostering long-term athletic development in young golfers .
“ Operation 36 was the first of its kind , starting kids from 25 yards and working them backwards ,” Parker says . “ The enthusiasm and joy it generated went semi-viral . It established me as a key figure in the junior golf community and set the stage for my future in content creation .”
Initially , Parker didn ’ t foresee himself becoming a golf influencer .
“ I just wanted to do good work and help others improve their golf skills ,” he explains . “ The influencer path evolved organically over time . I was simply focused on my passion for golf and the desire to share it with others .”

His breakthrough moment came in May 2022 during the PGA Championship . While working on content for Cadillac , he seized the opportunity to create personal content on the side . Making around 30 videos a day , he soon went viral . His follower count surged from 8,000 to 40,000
in just a few days , marking a dramatic shift in his career trajectory .

“ The market is definitely becoming more crowded ,” he notes . “ However , it ’ s crucial to focus on building something meaningful , rather than just chasing fame . Authenticity and hard work are key . If you remain true to yourself and are genuinely passionate about what you do , you can make a significant impact .”
