IS SUMMER REALLY OVER? While it may be cooling

These products may well help end your season on a high
note and keep you dreaming all winter long.
COBRA GOLF
Bio Cell Pro driver
Cobra Golf’s adjustable Bio Cell Pro titanium driver may be part of a major
product line, but it has a style and purpose all its own. At 440cc, the clubhead
is compact. It’s built with a very low center of gravity that translates to a recipe
for distance: fast ball speed, low spin and high launch. There are eight loft
settings, including three with a fade bias. The forged face features the brand’s
patented E9 technology that enlarges the sweet spot, maximizing ball speed
and forgiveness on off-center hits. But that’s probably overkill, because with
the fade bias and smaller head—let alone the word ‘Pro’ in its name—the club
is clearly built for better players. For added measure, the club includes Cobra’s
SmartPad on the sole that helps square the face at address, regardless of the
loft setting. ($299; cobragolf.com)
