ODU to Host Invitational at Princess Anne

For the first time in more than a decade, the Old Dominion University women’ s golf team will host a tournament in the Commonwealth.

Princess Anne Country Club will host the Princess Anne Invitational from Oct. 5 – 7, a 12-team tournament featuring programs from across the country.
Coming off a second straight appearance in NCAA regionals, ODU welcomes two other programs that reached regionals last season— Campbell and Princeton— along with Maryland, Central
Florida, Sacramento State, Cincinnati, Delaware, Chattanooga, Marshall, South Florida and Xavier to Virginia Beach.
“ We are thrilled to be bringing a prominent national event to the Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach,” said ODU coach Mallory Hetzel, a VSGA member who reached match play at the 2017 U. S. Women’ s Mid-Amateur Championship.“ We have a strong field from all over the country and we are looking forward to the opportunity to play a home game.”
