GGOLFEROFTHEYEAR
What memory do you take away from this season? This season has been fun, with many ups and downs. Some of my best memories came at The Homestead, both in the VSGA Senior Women’ s Am and the USGA
Senior Women’ s Am.
What are your golf goals for 2026? There is always something to work on! I hope to continue to improve my play and hopefully more good results will come.
What golf ball do you play and how do you mark it? I play Titleist Pro V1, and I mark it with dots and a paw print.
What is your favorite course in Virginia? The Old Course at The Omni Homestead has become one of my favorites.
Who is the golfer you admire the most? At the time I started watching golf, Annika Sörenstam was in the peak of her career so I watched her quite a bit. I always admired her swing, and how steady she was mentally. More recently, I really admire Lauren Coughlin. She has worked so hard to improve her game and is seeing great results. She had an amazing Solheim Cup and to play that well with the pressure of being in your home state is truly admirable.
