A successful 2024 , a sold-out 2025 and looking ahead to 2026 by CHRIS LANG

IN FALL 2024 , VSGA MEMBERS ENJOYED STUN- NING LAKE MICHIGAN VIEWS AT WHISTLING STRAITS ’ CHAMPIONSHIP STRAITS COURSE and dined on Wisconsin delicacies like elk meatballs and espresso-dusted cheddar cheese at Kohler ’ s Blackwolf Run restaurant .

In summer 2024 , VSGA members experienced a breathtaking tour of Northern Ireland ’ s finest courses , including Open Championship venue Royal County Down .
And in the winter , when the Virginia weather is at its most fickle , VSGA members flocked south to the Dominican Republic to enjoy Casa De Campo , featuring Pete Dye ’ s famed Teeth of the Dog course .
A bonus close-to-home fall trip to The Omni Homestead Resort ’ s Cascades Course and Old Course in Hot Springs wrapped up an exciting year of member trips .
The good news ? There are two VSGA member trips scheduled for 2025 — Pebble Beach and Scotland . The bad news ? They ’ re sold out , showing just how popular these trips are with the VSGA membership .
What will you get on these trips ? Typically , each trip features a signature course ( Straits , Teeth of the Dog , Royal County Down , etc .) along with other high-level courses in the area . Have you ever wanted to experience these courses but don ' t know where to start ? A VSGA member coordinates hotel rooms , pairings , skins games and anything else that may come up , either leading up to the trip or when you are on site . Please note these trips do not include airfare to the destination . vsga . org N OVEMBER / D ECEMBER 2024 | V IRGINIA G OLFER
