There are two contrasting styles of swinging a golf club : some golfers are more active with their wrists and throw the club head around more , whereas other golfers are more stable with their wrists and push or pull the grip-end of the club more .
Full Swing Styles The most obvious example of a club head swinger in the history of golf is John Daly . Daly threw the club head around his body with a big hinge of his wrists in the backswing , making for the appearance of an exceptionally long swing . Phil Mickelson would be another example of a player with a lot of action with the club head .
