DAY 1
MORNING: DYE’S VALLEY COURSE—
Having just reopened after a major
restoration, the “other” course at TPC
Sawgrass, which hosted the Web.com
Tour Championship in mid-September, is
definitely now worth playing.
AFTERNOON: SAWGRASS COUNTRY
CLUB—The first host of The Players
Championship from 1977–81, this newly
refurbished 27-hole facility is located
right across the street from TPC Sawgrass
and has holes routed through picturesque
lakes and sculpted bunkers with smooth
TifEagle greens.

OFF-COURSE OPTION: Ponte Vedra is
known for its lush tropical setting, so be
sure to visit the Guana Tolomato Matanzas
National Estuarine Research Reserve for
some impressive encounters with nature.
EVENING: Located on the Intracoastal
Waterway, Cap’s On the Water is a great
place for outdoor dining and sunset views,
not to mention fresh seafood.
AFTERNOON: SLAMMER & SQUIRE—
Designed by Bobby Weed, with input from
Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen, this layout
is a tale of two distinct nines with wide
fairways and contoured greens and views
of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
DAY 2
MORNING: KING & BEAR—This is the
only design collaboration between Jack
Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer routed around
shimmering lakes, tall ponds and mossy oaks.
OFF-COURSE OPTION: Whether you play
an afternoon round or not, the World Golf
Hall of Fame definitely requires a visit to
see some incredible golf memorabilia from
many of the inductees.
