Mount Vernon CC 27½-26½ ) The story : CCV tied the all-time event record with its 15th title , downing Mount Vernon when MVCC captain Joan Gardner ’ s par putt on No . 18 hit a COVID pool noodle in the cup and popped out . The putt would have tied the match and sent it to a playoff . Instead , the CCV team ( Boodie McGurn , Natalie Easterly , Brenda Baril , Cheryl Grigg , Eliza Lewis and Lindsay Wortham ) celebrated its 15th win , tied with Army Navy for most all-time .
