NEW-LOOK VSGA.ORG
With a mobile-first approach in mind,
the revamped VSGA.org launched on
Nov. 1. Featuring a cleaner aesthetic
and an easier-to-navigate interface,
VSGA.org is the place to post a score,
purchase a VIP card, register for a One-
Day event, read up on championship
action and keep up with other VSGA
news. Check out the new site on your
mobile device or desktop today!
The inclusive event (for more informa-
tion, visit usdga.net) is open to players
with physical and intellectual impair-
ments and golf handicap indexes not
exceeding 30. The event will be flighted
into three divisions, and awards will be
given in each of the divisions (net and
gross). Golfers with various impairments
such as amputations, blindness, Cerebral
Palsy, MS and more will compete.
In November, the USGA and R&A
announced that the two organizations
will administer a global ranking for
golfers with disabilities, which will help
to grow participation and competition
around the world and to promote inclu-
sivity within the sport. The World Rank-
ing for Golfers with Disability will launch
on Jan. 1, 2019 and will be administered
in tandem with the World Amateur Golf
Ranking for both men or women.
