On the men’s side, recently minted mid-amateur Trey Smith advanced through a tough field to break a six- year run of college players winning the Schwarszchild Brothers Trophy. On the women’s side, the drama surrounded whether or not defending champion Lauren Greenlief could add her name to the list of back-to-back winners. After claiming medalist honors, Greenlief won four matches for her second Women’s Am title, jumpstarting her spectacu- lar summer that included quarterfinal appearances in the U.S. Women’s Ama- teur and U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur.
