Your child doesn’ t have to be a prodigy to pick up the game and have a life-changing experience.

MICHELLE HOLMES
At the Michelle Holmes School of Golf, the only thing that’ s mandatory is having fun.

Honesty. Patience.

Focus. Determination.

Problem-Solving. Independence.

The words at left are all traits that parents long to instill in their children. These are characteristics that we want our future generations to embody for a functioning and successful society. Consequently, it is also a list of virtues developed while playing golf.
Whether one’ s child is a golf prodigy or he or she has a genuine interest in golf as a hobby, giving a child the opportunity to play golf can be a lifechanging experience. The game truly teaches honesty, focus, determination and problem-solving. Golf teaches independence in a way that no other sport can: those who golf have all had bad days on the course, so golfers know it teaches patience.
Teaching methods and ideologies have improved vastly over the last number of years. We are very fortunate that with a combination of technology and equipment from both U. S. Kids Golf and SNAG Golf, a child can start golf as early as 3 years old. Both companies provide light equipment that allows for serious repetition of the correct golf swing.
