HOW TO PLAY IT

From the tee, players face a clear risk-reward decision. A conservative play is to lay up short of the fairway bunker, leaving a 140- to 160-yard shot into the angled green. A more aggressive line challenges the bunker with driver, setting up a shorter approach and a better angle, but brings out of bounds, trees, and even water into play for longer hitters. Strategy on the approach should match the pin location. Conservative shots to the middle of the green are ideal when the hole is back left, while front-right pins allow players to be more aggressive. Missing short and right provides the best chance to save par when precision comes up short.
A pond on the left and bunkering behind the green make the approach on No. 7 a tricky one.
