Canada ’ s Alberta offers high-altitude golf
ALBERTA , CANADA IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES IN NORTH AMERICA .
And with more than 300 golf courses across this western Canadian province that boasts six UNESCO World Heritage Sites — including the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks and Dinosaur Provincial Park — this section of the continent provides an unforgettable summer golf destination .
The region is one of Canada ’ s three prairie provinces located north of Montana and features diverse topography ranging from the spectacular Canadian Rockies to dense , mature forests and expansive prairies . In late July and August , seemingly infinite bright-yellow fields of blooming canola flowers add to the already jaw-dropping panoramic views that are abundant in Alberta .
And along with the non-stop natural beauty of this region , there are 18 hours of daylight during the summer months , allowing golfers to squeeze in a lot each day . Whether it ’ s for extra holes of golf or added sightseeing after golf , there is plenty to do in Alberta , and truly something for everyone .
