Georgia to play in a tournament hosted by
the Bulldogs in Athens the next day.
Wanting to see McCoy play in the
college tournament, Mullian drove over to
the University of Georgia course. Dressed
in his own Georgia Bulldogs attire, he
followed McCoy’s group, step for step.
When play came to a halt during a wait
on a tee, McCoy spoke to Mullian during
the delay. He could tell Mullian was crazy
about golf, and he could clearly see he was
