The following exemptions have been added to VSGA championships: Any player qualifying for a USGA championship will be exempt into one or more VSGA championships for the current and/or following years. Senior Open champions from the past 10 years (previously five years); top five amateurs and ties from the previous year’s Senior Open (previously top three); top 10 eligible players from the previous year’s VSGA Senior Player Rankings (previously top five) will now be exempt into the Senior Open of Virginia. The top 10 boys from the 2015 VSGA Junior Golf Circuit player rankings as of July 21 will be exempt into the 63rd VSGA Junior Stroke Play Championship. Entry fees for several One-Day events have been reduced to $48 while all other One-Day events are now $58 for VSGA members. Each entry fee covers the green fee, cart fee and prizes and all events are open to men and women of all ages. The VSGA will post all stroke play championship and qualifying scores, excluding four-ball competitions, to each player’s Handicap Index scoring record as tournament scores for all men’s, women’s and Junior Golf Circuit events.
