Elevated Purses Await LPGA ’ s Best 2023 LPGA Tour Schedule
AS THE POPULARITY OF THE LPGA CONTINUES TO RISE , so do the purses , a hugely positive development for the sport .
LPGA players will compete for more than $ 101 million in prize money in 2023 — a record . Also on the slate in 2023 : the biennial playings of the Solheim Cup and the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown . The Solheim Cup will be played again in 2024 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville before reverting to an every-other-year schedule after that .
The LPGA will visit 11 states in the U . S . and 12 countries worldwide . Another major change : the season ’ s first major shifts from California to Texas as The Chevron Championship makes its first appearance at The Club at Carlton Woods , with an elevated purse of $ 5.1 million there for the taking .
